VERIFICATION
Every fire alarm system installed in Nova Scotia
must be “verified” upon completion by an
electrician, by an independent, qualified person.
Verification involves the inspection of the wiring to
each device connected to the fire alarm panel. Each
device (heat or smoke detector, bell, strobe, piezo
buzzer, control relay, etc.) must be individually
inspected and tested for correct operation.
